Just some shots from home for today --

Cully & Myah -- this is as close to "playing" as these two get! They bounce up and down, run back and forth and yip and bark at one another...from a distance of about 10 or 12 feet :) Myah is on a dog run and Cully... well, Cully just isn't brave enough to go up to her.

Winter Apples -- this would a great time for the moose to come visit! The strong winds we had a week or so ago knocked these apples down from the tree. They look pretty and red, but really, they are rotten and mushy. I do like the way they look in the white snow, though :)

Greenhouse Frost -- Tried to get some neat macro shots of the frost patterns on the greenhouse windows, but wasn't too impressed with the results. Maybe it was the lighting... This shot didn't come out too badly - kind of lacey and delicate.

Friday Evening Commute -- took this shot of north-bound commuter traffic on the Glenn Hwy from the front room window, around 5:35 pm. I had the camera on the tripod and used a slooow shutter speed, to capture the row of lights. It turned out rather neat, I thought :) Approx 14,000 people commute daily between Anchorage - Alaska's largest city - and the communities of Wasilla and Palmer - better known as "the Valley" (Matanuska-Susitna Valley).
