I couldn't resist sneaking over to take a few shots ;) There are a few other small piles of the cones, but this was, by far, the largest!

I was out walking around on our property after the snow melted and was surpised to see this pile of pinecones at the base of the tree! It belongs to our little squirrel friend, Scamper and his mate, Skitter :) Apparently, they'd been stockpiling their food under the snow and when we went through our warm spell, it became exposed for all the world to see!
I couldn't resist sneaking over to take a few shots ;) There are a few other small piles of the cones, but this was, by far, the largest!
